The Project Begins!

Good morning neighbors and friends. Beginning late this morning our long awaited and planned rehabilitation of the Quail, Legacy and Buckhorn Roads will begin.

S and A Excavation will begin to deliver heavy equipment to the area and commence by preparing to develop material on site. They will be working initially in the Loop Area near 17520 and 17530 Buckhorn. They may be entering and exiting a steep driveway road at that location. We urge everyone to use caution when in this area and be very vigilant as heavy equipment could be moving near here. Actual construction on the road will not begin until Monday, 28 February. This phase will include locating and placing culverts in areas of dire need. This may require road closures and a detour may be needed intermittently. Our detour will be Model Creek Road to the Access gate at Buckhorn Creek. Please contact me for access. This will be limited to residences beyond any ongoing construction affecting them at that time. Please keep in mind this is an ongoing project expected to last three to four weeks in duration.

PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH HEAVY EQUIPMENT BY VEHICLE OR ON FOOT. OPERATORS HAVE LIMITED VISIBILITY AND HEARING WHEN OPERATING MACHINERY. ACQUIRE EYE TO EYE CONTACT WITH THE OPERATOR IF IN THE  WORK AREA.
